For some reason, we thought it was a good idea to jump into the freezing cold Bitterroot River to start the morning in Hamilton, Montana.
A few photos from Hamilton last night:

This is a fantastic video.
Hah, I *really* enjoy these Dos Equis commercials. I think it's a pretty hilarious ad campaign.
John Hodgman on Obama’s nerd credentials. So funny!
Oh no!
Anyway, test posting video from my iPhone to Flickr and my blog.
On Wednesday, I posted that despite being a dog lover, I sure do watch a ridiculous amount of cat videos.
For my canine loving friends, fear not! Our dogs have some equally amusing videos as well. Unfortunately, there weren’t as many readily available on the internet.
Regardless, here are a few of my favorites.
And another one involving pugs…
You know, for being a dog person, I sure do watch and enjoy a lot of cat videos.
Some of my recent favorites:
And of course, the infamous Ninja cat that comes closer without moving. Just mute the sound for this video. (Why do people who upload videos to Youtube always *insist* on putting crapping music in their videos?)
Recently, the National Basketball Association and Nike teamed up to produce a series of commercials for the NBA playoffs, featuring puppet versions of arguably the best two players in the game: The Lakers’ Kobe Bryant and the Cavaliers’ LeBron James. Two of them in particular are quite amusing to me.
The first commercial features Kobe bragging about the three championship rings that he has won, compared to zero for LeBron.
The second video features LeBron and Kobe challenging each other to a game of 1 on 1.
A new documentary is out in theaters. It’s called “Objectified” and is all about design. It looks pretty interesting. I can’t wait to see it.
Last.FM is one of my favorite sites on the internet. Not only does it do a great job of recommending music based on my previous listening history, it also does allows me to type in a tag/genre/phrase and listen to good music found within it.
I often like to play their “New Zealand radio station” and listen to some of the music I heard while gallivanting around the country a number of years ago.
While listening to that station, I stumbled across this band from New Zealand, called The Tutts.
Good old, indie rock.
Another good band from New Zealand (and a CD I even picked up while in the country) is Fat Freddy’s Drop. Definitely some nice, laid back music.
And if we’re talking about New Zealand bands, we can’t forget Flight of the Conchords!
